French term
secteur relationnel
French to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
This seems to be taken from a parody of a board game, where players (job seekers) draw cards and are sent from square to square based on the problems that arise.
This problem is: Sudation importante des pieds incompatibles avec les métiers du secteur relationnel ou touristique.
Thanks!

: I'd just use "customer service": the "face to face" aspect is implicit in the question, and the sweating problem / Sure, which is what I meant about the question making it clear it could only be face-to-face customer service

Thanks Philippa. If the customer service was over the phone, the customer would not be troubled by the niffy foot problem.

: customer service. For jobs where there is no face-to-face contact it's normal to call it a hotline or telephone service // I too suffer from their luke-warm line. From now I'll imagine them with smelly feet! Could help relieve the inevitable tension :-)

Thanks Sheila. Given my experience of them I wouldn't call Orange's miserable customer service a "hotline".

Thanks Liz. I think that it is implied and one needn't be over-literal in this case.

: Don't you think that an office job in this sector might be compatible with smelly feet?

customer and public service sector
I'm not altogether happy with this suggestion, but the idea is that the person in question is (tragically) no longer suited to jobs involving face to face contact with the public.

...not suited for the service or tourist industry
