His body is used to injuries
Или что-то из серии - his body is used to all kinds of beatings.

His body has taken a beating

We say this about athletes, by the way. It is a reference to multiple injuries, not sustained all at once, obviously.
You might also hear, 'His body has taken quite a beating."

crippled due to a maltipul trauma
We don't think that his body was completely "bulleted through" due to the overactive use of the fists of his adversary(s), do we?

all battered up
he was?? all battered up after the training fights, so him being still alive after that/surviving through that makes him unique
//so the fact that he's still alive with this approach to training makes him exceptional/unique

It can even be verbal. (a tongue lashing, loss in a debate/argument)
Injuries? That's my second name =)
