1. Care should be taken to ensure that a proper earth ground is provided from the MBS frame to either a floor support anchor or properly grounded conduit or junction box.
2. Longer sorters with more than 6 diverts may require additional earth grounds.
3. When used with motor driven roller (MDR) conveyor additional earth grounds may be required from the MDR conveyor frame to a proper earth ground to eliminate the possibility of ESD issues within the control cards.

Me imagino que como en GB 'earthing' es el equivalente a 'grounding' en los EEUU, es decir, una conexión a tierra, esto querrá decir conexión a tierra pero quisiera confirmarlo...

En muchos casos, "ground" se emplea con el sentido de "masa" en español, es decir, se trata de utilizar el chasis del equipo como la superficie equipotencial, es decir, cuyo potencial se toma como referencia base para el equipo en cuestión.

En otros, se toma como tal verdaderamente la tierra. En este caso, hay que conectarlos a una toma de tierra real.

La redacción del original confunde, pero en el fondo no deja de explicar que "a proper earth ground is provided from the MBS frame to either a floor support anchor or properly grounded conduit or junction box. se trata de conectar a TIERRA, directamente " that a to either a floor support o indirectamente a properly grounded conduit or junction box.

Excusa el galimatías de arriba. Tenía dificultades con la conexión y me costó varias "recargas de página", así que resultó lo que se ve.
Da todo lo que está arriba por borrado y sustitúyelo por lo que sigue:

Por tanto, se trata de ejecutar la puesta a tierra del equipo, de una menera u otra.
