El objeto del aseguramiento se describe y concreta en tres Secciones distintas, siendo de aplicación a la presente impugnación de un dictamen pericial tan sólo la Sección IIIª, denominada “Retraso en la Puesta en Operación”. Examinando esa Sección IIIª, resulta que su objeto es el de “indemnizar al asegurado cualquier reducción o pérdida de ingresos, menos cualquier gasto no permanente, derivados de un retraso en la terminación del Proyecto, como consecuencia de cualquier suceso, perdida o daño en los bienes asegurados bajo la Sección I a) o b), que sean objeto de un siniestro indemnizable.
