French term or phrase: Station Verte
Does anyone know of a standard translation for "Station Verte"? It is the name for towns and villages which are part of a scheme for rural/natural tourist destinations in France.
I am tempted to leave it in French as I'm not inclined to use the word "resort" to refer to villages and market towns.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

A bit wordy, but this is certainly an expression used which covers the basic idea of the French label.

I would keep the French label where appropriate, and use this as a description.

Explanation:
Although it is often referred to as "Station verte" by "connoisseurs", I would still use Green resort, which I have just tested around me here, and everyone understood what I meant...
