I am a native of Constantinople, Father, a foreign visitor to your land

In Medieval Rus', 'Tsar'grad' was a standard term for Constantinople;
Otche, as the vocative of Otec 'Father', typically means that one is simply addressinfg a priest.
"prishlets" -- an arrival, a visitor;
"strannyi" -- not 'strange', as in modern Russian, but 'from abroad', 'foreigner', 'traveller'

Thank you!
agree James McVay : I agree except for "dear Lord." That sounds like he's addressing God. Maybe just "Father?"

I think that not his appearance was the matter but his dialect.
