agree  Jack Doughty: If grey-market is OK, why not black-market? (Incidentally, I thought "grey" was "gray" in US English).

  -> Thank you. I agree, black-market would also work but then we would still have the question of what is meant by grey vs black. Grey / Gray: my dictionary has both.

«Черная» зарплата - работодатель не платит с нее ЕСН (единый социальный налог), зарплата не подтверждена документально, не проходит по документам фирмы, не проходит по банковским счетам. "Серая" - работник числится в финансовых и налоговых документах фирмы, но часть заработной платы получает отдельно, это часть, не облагающаяся налогом, или выплаченная по схеме, не подлежащей налогобложению, например, выплата зарплаты через договор страхования - Фирма страхует своих работников на крупную сумму, выплаты по страховке равны зарплате и перечисляются на расчетный счет работника в банке.
