La Sociedad Nacional de Minería, Petróleo y Energía, en el marco de la promoción del desarrollo sostenible, *convoca* a sus asociados para que mediante un trabajo monográfico detallen las más relevantes actividades realizadas por sus empresas, que excedan lo requerido por la normatividad vigente al momento de la presente convocatoria, para la protección ambiental y el desarrollo local como parte de una política de Desarrollo Sostenible. Este trabajo podrá ser complementado con vídeos y/o material fotográfico detallado, que muestre fehacientemente el trabajo realizado.
Se premiará a aquellas empresas que un jurado, conformado por destacadas personalidades del ámbito profesional e institucional, privado y gubernamental, considere han sobresalido por sus logros a favor del desarrollo sostenible.

AWARD / invites
Keep it simple. Why not start with something like "AWARD", since you're outlining what the award is for. In the second occurence you could say "is inviting its associates to..." or "would like its associates..." or "is asking its associates...".

II. OBJETIVOS
El objeto del “Premio al Desarrollo Sostenible” es estimular y promover entre las empresas del gremio los esfuerzos para que la localidad donde su ubican sus operaciones, puedan alcanzar el desarrollo sostenible, excediendo los requerimientos establecidos por las normas en materia de protección ambiental y desarrollo local.
III. PARTICIPANTES
Podrán participar todas las empresas mineras, de hidrocarburos, y eléctricas asociadas a la SNMPE.
IV. TEMAS / CATEGORÌAS
1. Esfuerzos de protección o gestión ambiental (conservación de los recursos naturales, rehabilitación y recuperación de áreas afectadas).
2. Esfuerzos de promoción del desarrollo local (eslabonamientos generados, mejora en niveles de salud, mejora en niveles de educación).
V. PRESENTACION DEL TRABAJO
1. Carta de presentación de la empresa dirigida al Presidente de la Sociedad Nacional de Mineria, Petróleo y Energía, con indicaciones y/o referencias al “Premio Desarrollo Sostenible”, señalando el sector al que pertenece y la Categoría en la que desea participar.
2. Resumen Ejecutivo (10 páginas máximo)
3. Contenido Resumen Ejecutivo:
· Antecedentes (identificación de la situación pre-existente)
· Normatividad legal nacional relacionada.
· Justificación (por qué fue necesario el esfuerzo y porqué va mas allá de lo requerido por las normas)
