Can anybody help with MDM - the text is an SAE report for a cardiology patient and I can't find much evidence to explain MDM.

agree  Chema Nieto Castañón: Perfectly explained. In this context it is probably enough to refer to cardiac markers / cardiac biomarkers. In Spanish I would naturally use "enzimas/enzimas cardíacas" instead of MDM in the examples of the OP.
