Could this simply be translated as "signs a contract with" in this context?

Your suggestion SIGNS A CONTRACT WITH is Ok, but I think CONTRATA is better rendered with HIRES, since it implies posing the decision (of entering the contract) onto the airline.

Asker: Thanks Neil. So the airline would be the outsourcer and the other party would be referred to as "the outsourced company", is that right? I'd prefer to include the word company rather than say "outsourcee".
