Discussion

Edward Plaisance Jr Nov 21, 2015:
note to Asker: Please check this information before you use "executive team" in your translation:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senior_management
If your "team" is composed of senior management persons, then it will be correctly understood by your readers.
But, from the Persian term in the question I seriously doubt it, and "executive team" will be misunderstood.

In this context (and most contexts) "executive" in English refers to the very high levels of decision making in an organization or company. We would not use "executive" in the context of a team working on a project...we would simple call it a "project team"

In other words, the team responsible for executing the project is not called an "executive team"...rather, it is called a "project team"
