renderei cosi' lo spostamento dei piatti, di cui si era impadronito di nascosto.
mi piacerebbe anche usare agguantare che però implica forza melo gesto
che aveva agguantato furtivamente/ di nascosto
così non c'è bisogno di aggiungere per se'
