neutral B D Finch : "Surface utile" and "Usable floor area" are legally defined according to criteria such as floor-to-ceiling height. The definitions are very strict and are used by planning and tax authorities.

As Built usable floor area of the premises

"As built" is standard construction terminology for drawing/reporting what has actually been constructed. In this case, the calculation has to be made by surveying the completed building and may well vary from that shown in the construction drawings and specification.
