A friend of a pretty girl whom a boy fell in love with at first sight is talking here. The boy has been unable to be daring enough to approach the pretty one.

Contexte:

"Au bout de quelques jours, une de ses amies, plus observatrice, lui fit remarquer:
—jJe te dis que ce garçcn en pince pour toi!"

Something like "really wants to get his hands on you/run his hands all over you," or really has the hots for you?"

neutral  writeaway: un peu 'trop'. it's not that racy an expression/yes but am not so sure it applies 100% to this context. depends on the register and style of the original and the translation.

"I have a crush on you" in French would be: "j'ai le béguin pour toi" or "j'en pince pour toi" but these phrases are old-fashioned and in "modern" ...

A slight deformation, but if the friend has spotted that the boy pince pour elle, it may well be because she saw how he was looking at her.

Grammar point:
- either "with whom a boy fell in love
- or "who a boy fell in love with".

Improper positioning of prepositions is something up with which I shall not put.

Boys do not wish to lay their hands on girls. That is a figment of girls' imagination, wishful fancy. Boys want to lay their hands on a train set, a motor scooter, or to kick a ball around with their mates. Girls frighten boys half to death.
