Hot Air Not being a laundry expert, nevertheless I have used "tumble dryers" and of course they use heat and are very common. But "aire caliente" caused me to think of another possibility, that someone might try to dry the shirt with a hair dryer or something similar, which would be a no-no.

Perhaps in Spanish they should have just said "no secar en secadora".

@Alex I think you may have misunderstood the point of my comment, which was intended as a response to Henry, who sees "hot air" and "tumble dry" as essentially different things. I was merely assuring him that they are not. Perhaps I should have made that clear; I thought it was obvious. I would not presume to try to teach someone who has worked in an industrial laundry what a tumble dryer is.
As for your point about usage (which others have already made previously), obviously I agree. That's why I agreed some hours ago with neilmac's answer.

We all know what Tumble means Thanks Charles for your clarification but I believe we all know what a tumble dryer is and how it works, what we are saying is that people don't say "I'm going to dry something with warm air" they say "I'm going to tumble dry it" or "I'm going to put in the tumble dryer"

Tumble dry / warm air There's no conflict: tumble dryers dry clothes with warm air. The tumbling is to enable the warm air to reach all parts of the load.

Warm air or tumble dry? Warm air just doesn't sound English to me when it comes to drying things, at least I've never heard anyone say "dry with warm air", plus let's face it, even industrial laundries (of which I have some experience) uses tumble dryers, no one uses "warm air" to dry things

Tumble Dry? I'm no laundry expert, but I just cannot see how "hot air" can translate as tumble dry. Maybe instructions are often given like that, but it does not mean that it is the same thing.

I did say it was a mix of previous suggestions, the source was not concise so the translation may not need to be either that's why I offere a longer suggestion :)
