: "Facts" is a false friend with факты; if they're invented, they're not facts. // Well you could use scare quotes I guess -- but the word still means something different from the Russian.

: Джим абсолютно прав, это ложные друзья переводчика. По-английски так нельзя сказать. Если "not real", то в английском языке это уже не факт.
