En un documental, dos amigos músicos están hablando de las dificultades que tenemos las personas para expresar nuestros sentimientos. No estoy segura de cómo traducir "brokenness". ¿Fragilidad? ¿Desolación? ¿Alguna sugerencia?

Ahí va un poco de contexto:

Everyone wants to hide their brokenness, the brokenness of men, the brokenness of women, they wanna hide it. They want to put on a pretty little smile and hide behind an SUV.
