Portuguese term or phrase: com a cara do nosso cliente
"Inúmeros testes de campo foram feitos para deixar o produto com a cara do nosso cliente na America Latina"

They're trying to make the tractors specific to the needs of Latin American customers, but I've got this ridiculous image of a tractor with the customer's face plastered over the front - a bit like 'Mater' from the Pixar/Disney film 'Cars' (great btw).

Any ideas on something 'marketing' sounding? Thanks.

'Tailored to our customer's needs' was perfect. Better than my image of 'Mater', any day :)

Explanation:
I hate using a confidence level of 5, but I can't resist in this case. Good luck Richard. I hope this helps.

Countless field tests were conducted to give the product a look and feel our customers can relate to.

"Look and feel" is a term used in descriptions of products and fields such as product design, marketing, branding and trademarking, to describe the main features of its appearance.

agree  Waltter Silva: Indeed. Here "cara" means "aspectos que têm a ver com ("aspects having to do with); características com as quais alguém se identifica. ("features one feels identified with"). I think your translation conveys all these feelings.
