I guess here 经理 refers to fund managers (mutual fund managing firms), thus "two managers with strong potentials." Momentum is good too. Other expressions include "two vibrant managers,""two managers pick up momentum," etc. In a word, they are growing fast and there's a lot more room for growth.

: Yah, It is on LAtimes. com :) It seems the newest phrase for it, maybe it is more suitable for political setting. Driven and motivated / ambitious is more a business term.
