Writing and editorial skills
This person is practically saying that she/he can write eloquently and edit appropriately.
1. "writing skills" is a very generic and poor way of saying that you can write something linguistically correct. I think that we all agree that we all expect knowledge workers to be able to write; in a CV, one would have to be more specific about the type of writing, technical, copywriting, narrative etc.
2. editorial skills - means that you can crop content - while keeping the meaning and that you can adapt to different styles ...
this in Italian is not "editoriale". In Italian "editoriale" has to do with the business aspect of publishing. For example "Mondadori Editori" is a publishing house, not a writer.

By the way, you may tempted to use \"redazione\" to translate \"editing\". However, \"redazione\" in Italian is typically associated with some sort of publishing, paper, book, web site...not merely correcting someone\'s homework......
This is why I think that \"competenze linguistiche\" is the best way to express the generic \"writing and editorial skills\" that any kid out of high school will tout....
However, if you wanted to translate it literally, then I would say: \"capacità di componimento e di revisione\"

abilità di scrivere e redigere
scrivere a redigere corrispndenza/documenti/contratti.
Abilità significa capacità acquista con l'apprendimento.
Aggiungo 2 esempi che ho trovato in siti internet italiani:
1. "scrivere e redigere correttamente contratti internazionali in lingua inglese."
2. "Mosè, cresciuto nella cultura egiziana, aveva imparato l'arte di scrivere e di redigere le memorie degli avvenimenti."
