| Thanks Carmelo, believe it or not I checked this in various dictionaries before posting and not one of them had any entry for commissario di bordo. Take the online Oxford Paravia for example - nothing relevant under Commissario but doing a back search on Purser, the translation provided is commissario di bordo... Now that's really annoying!! |
