Garbage vs. Rubbish

Salutare.
Textul se referă la deşeuri. Cei doi termeni sunt subcategorii de deşeuri.
Garbage is the animal and vegetable wastes resulting from handling, preparing, and cooking food.
It does not include food processing wastes from canneries, slaughterhouses etc. Garbage originates mostly from domestic kitchens, stores, markets, restaurants etc
Rubbish consists of combustible and non-combustible solid wastes from homes, stores and institutions but does not include garbage.

. Pentru deseuri menajere se foloseste household waste, pentru cel provenit din industrie avem industrial waste.In cazul textului de fata se face referire la commercial waste cand descrie categoria de "rubbish". Organic waste sunt deșeuri organice.

Deșeurile organice ... includ și deșeurile de grădină. Ar fi o variantă, deși nu e clar dacă autorul vrea să folosească termenii oficiali sau un limbaj mai informal.

In romana nu exista denumiri specifice pentru toate tipurile de deseuri. Eu as merge pe traducerea propusa, cu mentiunea ca puteti consulta pentru detalii HG 856/2002 care este transpunerea in legislatia romaneasca a Catalogului European al Deseurilor.

agree Annamaria Amik : De acord că acestea ar fi categoriile din Legea privind regimul deșeurilor, dar cred că aici vrea să accentueze alimentar vs nealimentar.
