Each specification sheet for the various wines begins with one of these. What would be an approriate translation of cuvée here? 'Vintage' seems a bit pompous for these (cheap!) wines.

Explanation:
Using my favourite rule as follows:
"if you get a list, name the list according to its contents as if it had been originally drawn up in English".

I believe, altho' I haven't actually checked, that "vintage" in English just means "year (the wine was made)", and is NOT intended to be indicative of the wine's quality in any way, and so is not restricted to just "posh" wine!

Explanation:
Generally and in this case it just means the name of the wine - each winemaker will refer to the different wines he makes as his different "cuvées", also refering to their year if they are AOC or vin de pays wines. I'm sure because I have a site selling French wine to the UK :-)
