Pelas fontes que eu coloco como referência, um ordinário pode ser tanto um bispo, quanto um arcebispo. Por isso, há de haver uma pesquisa para se certificar sobre quem se trata.

Eu pesquisaria a posição do oficial da Santa Sé, para usar o termo mais correto, mas nunca usaria apenas um título, como ordinary ou bishop pois; primeiro, a categoria de ordinário abrange o ordinário simples, o ordinário coadjutor, ordinário auxiliar etc. E segundo, nem todo bispo/acrebispo é ordinário, mas todo ordinário é um bispo/arcebispo.
