En un contrato entre un profesor y una universidad venezolana:

"El profesor se obliga a prestar sus servicios a la universidad en la modalidad que la universidad indique, **con una dedicación de 3 horas semanales**, para un total de 48 horas, a partir del [fecha]. La duración del presente contrato es de 16 semanas y se ajustará al calendario de actividades que apruebe la universidad."

Lo que se me ocurre hasta ahora es "the professor/lecturer will have 3 classroom hours per week", pero no sé si la traducción es fiel ni si es la forma más adecuada de expresarlo.

Explanation:
The problem I see here is that we do not know if the “dedicación” consists of teaching exclusively or includes some other activities (such as tutorials, interviews with students, whatever). Therefore, I prefer to use “workload” for “sus servicios/una dedicación” to keep the translation as neutral or general as the source is.

neutral  Joseph Tein: Hola Toni. i used "teaching" in my answer because Yvonne said "3 classroom hours per week" in her discussion. // Then maybe Yvonne could just say "for 3 hours per week" or "3 hours weekly" which would also cover it and is briefer (I like brief).
