single grade/mark
From what I've read, it seems that a grade/mark ("voto") can be made up of "differenti tipologie di valutazione" (i.e. scritto, orale, etc.) or "voto unico" so in my opinion it would be best to translate it as "single grade/mark"

so unico means that there are no separate marks for written and oral. No idea how to translate this...
Thanks for everyone's patience.
