En este cotntexto no creo que quepa una traducción literal "include in their spaces..."
Alguna sugerencia.

Selected
that include [HIV/AIDS prevention] among their areas of concern
You might even skip the problem of "espacios" and say:
'that are concerned with HIV/AIDS prevention'
'that are concerned with HIV/AIDS prevention'

Spanish term (edited):
espacio
opportunity
en sus espacios
-->
when(ever) they get the opportunity
Looking at the various (and diverse) examples given by Manuel, I think "espacios" refers generically to "opportunities" the church leaders have to speak about HIV/AIDS.
Those "opportunities" might be sermons delivered from the pulpit, interviews with the press, participation in conferences, seminars, etc. These "espacios/opportunities" are exploited to "spread the word".

Robert Carter
: It's broad enough to cover what "espacios" might include, so I'd be happy with this.

who take time to talk about
Taking a cue from the other two options so far, you might go for something such as:
"Leaders who, as part of their role in the church, take time to talk about STDs, HIV and AIDS"
"Leaders who, as part of their role in the church, take time to talk about STDs, HIV and AIDS"

who see their remit as including/covering
These would be church leaders who see their remit as including the physical as well as spiritual health of their congregations.
Example sentence:
In Latin America the remit of pastoral practice includes violence, the family, and sexual health.
Discussion
- Líderes religiosos se integran a otros PROGRAMAS de prevención de VIH fuera de las Iglesias
examples:
Programas Nacionales contra el SIDA
http://www.who.int/hiv/pub/me/napyoungpeople_sp.pdf
Programa de prevención y control del SIDA en Navarra
https://www.navarra.es/home_es/Temas/Portal de la Salud/Prof...
- Líderes que desde sus iglesias incluyen en sus espacios los temas de prevención del VIH y SIDA.
- Líderes religiosos se integran a otros espacios de prevención de VIH fuera de las iglesias.
Then I think that they may be literally referring to "spaces" in terms of physical space. Don't you think so as well?
Church leaders who, from their churches, address the issue of HIV/AIDS prevention.
BTW, thank you so much for your suggestions Lorena an David!
