French term or phrase: a realisé une production de
En 2014, X (name of company) a realise une production de 500 M€.

Is this the same as 'turnover'? I have already had 'chiffre d'affaires' in the previous sentence.

I need the answer this afternoon please!

English translation:attained output of...
Explanation:
sounds appropriate with variation from "chiffre d'affaire."

--------------------------------------------------

Or alternately "achieved output"

I prefer "output" here for the simple reason what is produced is not necessarily sold, thus not always sales dollars. Think of an auto manufacturer for example that "produced" 500 million euros of cars, but didn't sale and/or ship them all.

neutral  Daryo: "what is produced is not necessarily sold" exactly the point, but that means that "la production" IS NOT a variation on "le chiffre d'affaire"

agree  Adam Warren: but I think in an IFRS context, "revenue" should be preferred, and when a company's economic performance is discussed, "sales", both sides of the ocean.
