English translation: Look/feel

French term or phrase: un rendu
I wonder if anyone has some good ideas for what "rendu" might mean in this context:

"Les briques naturelles sont idéales pour un rendu chaleureux et authentique."

None of the usual definitions seem to fit here. I'm leaning towards "feel" or "atmosphere." Thanks in advance for your help!

The source dialect is Québécois French, to be more specific. It's in an advertisement for decorative brick walls.

Thanks! This is the term ("feel") I wound up using. It seemed to make the most sense. "Effect" was also a great suggestion and I might use that if I come across the word in the future if it feels right.

Asker: This is a good answer. A main reason I didn't choose it is just because the word "finish" had come up a fair bit already in the document and I wanted to avoid repetition. But it definitely could have worked. Thanks!

agree  Daryo: CL5 is a bit optimistic + Linguee is mostly useless but accidents do happen - this is also an option

-> I never guess a response. I research my answers, but this was the best context example that should have been posted. 'Un rendu' can be translated as a rendering (la Rousse Dictionary) which can be synonymous with look/feel.

Asker: This is a good one too and just about as good as "feel," which I wound up using. I will definitely keep it in mind for a translation of "rendu" in the future.

cosiness, snugness

Explanation:
would be my approach.

coziness, snugness
comfort, comfortableness - a state of being relaxed and feeling no pain; "he is a man who enjoys his comfort"; "she longed for the comfortableness of her armchair"

I would translate "Les briques naturelles sont idéales pour un rendu chaleureux et authentique" by "the natural and authentic bricks will provide/offer you a cozy and snuggly welcome/home", "the natural and authentic bricks will render/create coziness and snugness", or similar.
The paraphrasing is now up to you. I would be glad if I could contribute ideas.

Notes to answerer
Asker: In the context of the whole phrase, "cosy" isn't far off, but specifically for "un rendu," "cosiness" or "snugness" seems both overly specific and a bit awkward. I did however like the idea of "create," although I opted for the similar "generating." (The natural bricks are ideal for generating a warm and authentic feel.)

disagree  Daryo: a "warm and authentic snugness" ? that doesn't sound right ...
6 hrs
-> Promotional statements should not stick on literal translations as this wouldn’t sound natural. I never proposed "warm and authentic snugness", but provided some ideas for transforming the "rendu". You may contribute to improvement. Why not?

disagree  ormiston: the asker is looking for natural sounding English
9 hrs
-> She isn't. She wants a good expression for one term, not for the phrase. I made some proposals for the term as well as for the phrase. You may improve both to sound more naturally or post your own idea, rather than grading only. The asker would thank you.

neutral  B D Finch: Much as I like the idea of a snuggly welcome, snuggling up to bricks seems a bit desperate.
13 hrs
-> Thank you very much for your comprehension! I'm no fan of bricks at home, either.
