Es geht nicht um "differ". Erstmal werden die Fragen aus Sicht der Eltern gestellt, und aus Sicht der Kinder. Oder statt Sicht - Bedürfnisse.

Ich bin allerdings nicht der Meinung, dass es hier "to differ" heißen müsste.
Es handelt sich hier um "to defer" als intransitives Verb i.S.v. "verschieben, variieren".
