kick the ball out, kick it out (of play/of the field) Explanation: Também ocorrem as expressões mais completas "kick the ball out of play" e "kick the ball out of the field". Mas neste caso, sobretudo se for uma frase imperativa, creio que a expressão mais adequada é "kick it out" (vd link 2). vd links: 1. Kick (it) out of bounds Explanation: Out of bounds is the typical expression. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 hrs (2015-01-31 15:05:36 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Make certain that the ball is thrown in from the point that it went out of bounds, ..." http://nisoa.com/instruction/interscholastic-instruction/201... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 hrs (2015-01-31 15:13:16 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "If the ball goes over one of the endlines, it is either a goal kick or a corner kick depending on which team kicked it out of bounds." http://leaguelineup.com/divisionlist.asp?url=warrensoccerlea... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 12 days (2015-02-12 01:17:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Be careful because missing the goal or being off target is not the same as saying it's out of bounds. Out of bounds means it's off the playing field. It's possible to miss the goal and still keep the ball in bounds if another player is there to intercept it or if it ricochets off the goal post or another player and remains in bounds. :) |
