El contexto es (dentro del apartado Tax Indemnity de un contrato de compraventa de acciones)

Mi opción es: "para evitar, disputar, resistir o defender caulquier reclamación..." pero creo que es demasiado literal y no sé si la frase forma parte de algún tipo de fórmula del Derecho anglosajón. ¿Podéis ayudarme?
