Es geht um einen Dienstvertrag für einen Geschäftsführer einer Holding. Hier bin ich mir bei ein paar Begriffen nicht ganz sicher... Und im Internet finde ich irgendwie keine passende, zuverlässige Terminologiesammlung.

Gesellschafterversammlung:
Sind bei einer Holding eher Begriff "shareholders' meeting" oder "general meeting" gebräuchlich?

agree  Rosa Foyle: Edith is 100% correct. You can add (of shreholders) if you really want to add emphasis to the fact that it is a corporation, i.e. annual general meeting (of shareholders)

nicht an der Börse, keine Aktien, sondern nur Geschäftsanteile/Gesellschaftsanteile: shareholders' meeting

(Personengesellschaft: ich glaube dort würde man auch von Letzterem sprechen, zB. bei einer GmbH & Co. KG)

OK, so I now dare say it is not an AG because of the Geschäftsführer thing (plus an AG usually has an Jahreshauptversammlung (JHV)/Aktionärsversammlung, not a Gesellschafterversammlung). So shareholders' meeting it is then.

Pls note regarding Kirk Rogers' answer: just because it might be the general meeting doesn't necessarily mean it's the ANNUAL one ...

Maßgebliches Fachbuch sagt: AGM ist korrekt für GmbH UND AG. Ich nehme die Antwort somit zurück.

neutral  Rosa Foyle: Sebastian, you have a point but....A holding (company) by definition owns shares of other companies. For this reason, I would stick with Edith's suggestion and add shareholders perhaps if it is unclear whether the company's shares are traded on stockmarke

  -> Owning shareholdings (Beteiligungen/Anteile in general, but not necessarily Aktien) in other companies the way a holding company does is nothing to do with being a Corporation (U.S.)/Public Company limited by Shares (UK)~AG. I don't get your point.
