Reference: findings Reference information: http://www.aena-aeropuertos.es/csee/Satellite?Language=EN_GB... Defibrillators Málaga Airport has 18 Cardiac Rescue Points, equipped with SAEDs (Semi-Automatic External Defibrillators), which are intended to help users in the event of cardiac arrest, and to offer passengers the best healthcare services at its facilities. Málaga has become a 'Cardiac-Protected Airport' as part of Aena's national plan to equip airports with Life Support Points. The Cardiac Rescue Points, which are spread across all terminals, have an analysis system which examines the patient's heart rate and determines the need and possibility of applying a discharge. What's more, each defibrillator indicates the steps to follow at all times, meaning that they can be handled safely and effectively by non-medical staff. The defibrillator columns are accessible through a device for authorised airport personnel who have undergone a voluntary basic training course. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 40 mins (2012-08-04 18:53:34 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.securityproductsolutions.com/external-defibrillat... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 42 mins (2012-08-04 18:55:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- free-standing unit also http://www.cardiaccarecritique.com/products/ems/ems.php -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 43 mins (2012-08-04 18:56:53 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- also free-standing communication unit Emergency Towers www.australiandefibrillators.com.au/Emergency-Towers.html BONDI BEACH RESCUE ... Unfortunately the bottom line with sudden cardiac arrest is no matter how the victim got there whether heart disease, drowning, trauma or electrocution, more than 95% of victims will die because they don’t have quick access to a defibrillator at the scene. Whatever the emergency, an Emergency Tower offers real help when you need it most. Until now, AED’s could not be placed outdoors where they are needed most due to temperature and theft concerns. Access to the AED is controlled by a 24/7 monitoring response centre who can remotely release the door latch. Constructed from marine grade stainless steel, back-to-base controlled access allows the end user to place these emergency devices in outdoor areas where timely response is critical. |
