ho già incontrato il termine una ventina di anni fa e non centra con lo smaltimento, il mio contesto era un po' diverso come ho scritto, ma anche il contesto di Fabio - logistica - è simile, le due azioni indicano si riferiscono al riconfezionamento, guardate l'ultimo degli esempi che ho citato, mi sembra chiaro

Sì potrebbe Cristina... ... tutto riferito quindi agli scarti della merce: da recuperare, mettere in bidoni, impacchettare/insaccare, poi tagliare i sacchi e smaltire.
Un po' di mistero c'è. :))

Re-packing Non so come è stato tradotto questo termine, ma penso che dopo avere aperto i sacchi e gli imballaggi e scaricato la merce si occupino di raccogliere il materiale di scarto e smaltirlo, per non lasciarlo presso il cliente. Ma tutto può essere. Forse la conferma definitiva può venire solo da un madrelingua inglese.

Cristina e Francesco... ... premesso che può essere di tutto, ma a me pare meno logico che svuotino dei contenuti per buttarli, immagino piuttosto che svuotino semplicemente delle merci contenute in sacchi, e quindi taglino e svuotino, rovescino i sacchi. Tra l'altro forse "tip" nel senso di "abbandonare/scaricare spazzatura ecc è più British English, mentre il testo in questione potrebbe non esserlo.
Solo una caparbietà da ferragosto! Perdonate e buon ferragosto a tutti! :))

"Tipping" potrebbe essere "scarico" in quanto "no tipping" significa "divieto di scarico".

Potrebbe essere "tipping" nel senso di "dumping" (waste).
Quindi scaricare, ma per smaltire il materiale non più utilizzabile.
