I have looked at the other posts for the word "ferme" and see that "firm" comes up a lot, but I am not sure if this applies to a rental agreement, and I am not sure how it would go in the sentence (i.e. lease for 9 years firm? sounds funny....) Or is it something completely different, like "9 years non-negotiable"? I'm sure there's some very typical formulation in English, but this is not my field...
