agência anfitriã não é de certeza, porque o termo é sempre usado no sentido da agência organizadora de um evento ou daquela que recebe os participantes... Agência mãe está mais perto do conceito, mas o termo pode induzir em erro porque é muitas vezes usado no sentido literal (a agência internacional que possui filiais em vários países), por isso fui para estrutura de acolhimento, embora deva confessar que o termo não me satisfaz inteiramente (razão por que lhe atribui um 3).

Concordo com você, Silvia. Não consigo ver o termo anfitriã passando a idéia original do texto. Sugeri agência mãe, mas não achei muitas referências utilizando esse termo. Talvez por ser um novo conceito?

Teresa, usamos a mesma fonte.... Mas não consigo achar que "agência anfitriã " é a melhor resposta neste caso. Todos os exemplos dados têm um outro sentido....

Explanation:
Perhaps "agência mãe" would be a good option? Maybe I am wrong, but from the text I understood that the host agency is the "main" agency, the headquaters or the parent company? And then the home-base travel agents are affiliated to it? I saw the following text in a blog:
" Então vejo como um processo natural da globalização, pois se as agências tivessem uma oportunidade de comprarem seus próprios aviões ou até mesmo fretarem um, terem seus receptivos e montarem seus próprios pacotes com certeza o fariam, como o fez a Agência Mãe Thomas Cook, que hoje possui sua própria estrutura operacional como sua própria companhia aérea, porém isso é muito mais complicado e envolve um alto patamar de investimento."
