Paralegal is a term used in most jurisdictions to describe a non-lawyer who assists lawyers in their legal work. This is true in the United States and many other countries. However, in Ontario, Canada, paralegals are licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada, giving paralegals an independent status in this jurisdiction.
Paralegals are not the same in every country. In the United States, they are not authorized by the government or other agency to offer legal services in the same way, nor are they officers of the court, nor are they usually subject to government-/court-sanctioned rules of conduct. In Ontario, Canada, paralegals are licensed and regulated the same way that lawyers are. A paralegal license allows for the paralegal to provide permitted legal services to the public and appear before certain lower level courts and administrative tribunals.

STAGE JUNIOR LEGAL ASSISTANT
Il candidato sarà inserito nel team legale e si occuperà di:

- supportare la funzione nella gestione del contenzioso, della contrattualistica e delle tematiche legali ingenere
- gestire, in affiancamento e con il coordinamento dei Contry Lawyers, le pratiche che gli vengono divolta in volta affidate, verificando le scadenze e gli adempimenti da eseguire, sollecitare le funzioni aziendali e le parti esterne all’azienda, dare seguito alle richieste ricevute e agli adempimenti da porre in essere
- fornire il supporto necessario ai Country Lawyers per la predisposizione della documentazione legalelegata ai vari progetti (redazione di lettere e contratti, allegati contrattuali, richiesta di documenti allecompetenti funzioni aziendali e al di fuori dell’azienda)
- eseguire ricerche giuridiche
- gestire l’ archivio e la posta, smistare telefonate e email, battere atti e corrispondenza, svolgereattività amministrativa per la corretta operatività dell’uffici
