"Moña" significa cursi, sensiblero (Los Pecos eran un grupo de música).
Puede que haya un término mejor en inglés para expresarlo, pero he escuchado muchas veces "cheesy" referido a canciones cursis, quizá podría encajar aquí. En cualquier caso, el significado va por ahí.
