English term

no-touch sale

Non-PRO English to German Marketing IT (Information Technology)
Hallo,

es geht hier um eine Pressemitteilung, in der die Vorteile des Cloud Computings für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen aufgezeigt werden.

Kontext:
The Futur of SMBs in the Cloud:
The ITC needs of SMBs have largely stayed the same over last 10 years and the sale will often be more consultative (although no-touch sales are clearly increasing and will likely continue to increase).

Geht es hier nur um den Online-Verkauf? Der Kunde möchte einen ansprechenden, wie er sagt "sexy Stil" ... hat jemand eine gute Idee?

Vielen Dank vorab für die Unterstützung!

Online-Handel/elektronischer Handel/elektronischer (virtueller) Marktplatz

"virtueller Marktplatz" trifft vielleicht noch am ehesten den Gedanken von "no touch" - dass hier nämlich kein direkter Kontakt zwischen Käufer und Verkäufer vorhanden ist.

No Touch Sales Creates Greater Efficiency
Part of the reason that ecommerce has been so successful is that it minimizes human contact. While that may sound crazy, it's true. A minimum of human contact means that shoppers can seek and find the products they want without interacting with quirky or featherbrained store clerks, and online merchants can sell thousands of products without having to expend resources answering the same questions over and over again.

Vertrauenskauf

"online sales" are always a matter of trust. A translation of no-touch is difficult in German, especially if it is to sound "sexy" and not "gewollt".

low-cost sale

But there is a catch, it’s called “cost of sale.” Essentially, because the SMB market can include SoHO (small office, home office) or single proprietors, this market is not only very cost conscious, but the sale has to essentailly be a “no touch” sale, in other words, a very low cost sales process. The cost of acquiring customers also has to be low.

Other links seem to refer to a sales process, in which the product is literally not touched by the vendor, i.e., by using vending machines, for example (see http://www.benchmarkusainc.com/doghouse.html ).

neutral Alexander Schleber (X) : "on-line" sales need not be low cost.
