Scusi, non so perchè ma mi è arrivato solo il contesto Suo in inglese... adesso vedo... troppo tardi... Vabbe'...
Michael Korovkin Mar 30, 2009:
if it were up to me i would've chosen cedricin's answer: it has very good rythm and a poetic twist

the rest of the suggestions, - with all due respect, yours including - is pure prose
Giovanna Traversa (asker) Mar 30, 2009:
La verità non prospera che al sole E' questa l'espressione in lingua originale... non capisco che cosa mi si stia chiedendo...
Fiorsam Mar 30, 2009:
My opinion Frankly, I think you own translation is the best. I would keep it.
Michael Korovkin Mar 29, 2009:

Truth thrives only in the sun

How about a positive spin bypassing the *not*? You could even substitute *in the open* for *in the sun* although it's not as visually effective.
