"Herstellung einer 2 M Lösung Tricin pH 8,9 (Ammoniak)

M = 179,2 g/mol

From an SOP for handling various raw materials used for pharmaceutical purposes. I can't make head or tail of "geht" in this context. It doesn't seem to mean any of the usual things that "gehen" does. I think it has a very specific meaning in this context, but what??? TIA for your help.

Edith's answer helped me see what I was missing, and "go into solution" gets plenty of hits, so I will accordingly award the points to Edith. However, "dissolve" also seems an excellent translation, so I will enter that in the glossary also. Many thanks to everyone who contributed - appreciate your help.
