@billy: At first I wondered why you came up with "products practically sell themselves". Now I get it..... Who wouldn't want to marry a princess? Haha. Gosh, my engine up there is really getting slow. I need to give it a rest. Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

@jianming If I use this sentence, my readers would have to really stretch their imagination to find relevance. I hope to have something more plain and direct.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "This time I actually beg to differ with Mr Fu's comments. The princess "practically sell herself" not because she is pretty but because her dad is the emperor. It fits here. I agree with Shang that a literal translation would not be appropriate here. Thanks to the others as well.... :)"

Since the original sentence has the quotation mark, you can leave it in the translation. In my opinion, it is not hard for your readers to stretch their imagination to that meaning. The product is from China, so with some Chinese flavor added it could only seem more attractive. Moreover, it may be easy for your proofreader to understand.

my suggestion

“皇帝的女儿不愁嫁”暗示企业凭借垄断地位销售价高质差的产品和服务(这是垄断的必然结果)。

不要因为'皇帝的女儿不愁嫁',而不注重服务质量和水准!----〉
不要因为自己占据垄断地位而不注重服务质量和水准!

a seller’s market

To me, '皇帝的女儿不愁嫁' means “highly favorable or desirable by the general mass”,

In marketing, when a product is in popular demands, we customary call it “a seller’s market”.

“Just because it’s a seller’s market, one justn"t ignore one's service quality and standards”

My tentative version

1)Quality services should not be overlooked because of our present predominance in the market.

2)Given our present predominance in the market, we shall still maintain our excellence in services.

3) Do not turn our market dominance to indifference to quality services.
4) Do not let our market dominance blindfold our continued focus on quality services.

agree Xiaoping Fu : This translation is closer to the actual meaning of the Chinese idiom.
