I agree that the Latin shouldn't be kept, primarily because not one of the qualified native speakers I asked understood this term well. Although it is all well and good to argue if the Latin should be kept or not, the main issue is if the translation is both correct and easily understandable. I think the other translations might have been the former but not the latter.

For a wordier, more literal translation:

This is similar to Maria Luisa's answer, except that the En usage for de pós-graduação is "graduate".

Regular graduate programmes include doctoral degrees other than the PhD, contrary to what my comment may seem to imply. That is the reason why I say "doctoral" programmes / level, etc.
