珠穆朗玛峰现在多高？

2005年5月22日，中华人民共和国重测珠峰高度测量登山队成功登上珠穆朗玛峰峰顶，再次精确测量珠峰高度，珠峰新高度为8844.43米。同时停用1975年8848.13米的数据。

衡量一座山是否为世界最高峰可以有很多不同的标准。
人们把珠穆朗玛峰称为世界最高峰，是根据海平面以上的最高高度来衡量的。
然而，若以从山顶到山脚落差为标准进行衡量，世界最高的山是哪座山呢？
若以从山顶到地心的距离为标准进行衡量，世界最高的山又是哪座山呢？

以从山顶到地心的距离为标准进行衡量，世界最高的山是厄瓜多尔的钦博拉索山。
