Explanation:
It is exact translation of official Slovak name. I choose transport instead of transportation as we have Ministry of Transport.

Explanation:
It stays for "Ústav cestného hospodárstva a mestkej dopravy", what means "Institute of Road Management and City Transportation".
I would probably use "ÚCHD (Institute of Road Management and City Transportation)"

agree  Anton Šaliga: Ale ponechal by som pôvodnú skratku : "ÚCHD (Ústav cestného hospodárstva a mestskej dopravy - Institute of Road Management and City Transportation)" s odkazom ´ďalej ako UCHD´. Pozn. ten ústav sa v období 1982 volal presne tak, ako uvádza Michal

Explanation:
Ústav cestovného hospodárstava dopravy = ÚCHD
I do not see word "mestskej dopravy" = city pransport
or " management "

neutral  Vladimír Hoffman: Cestneho, nie cestovneho. A cestne hospodarstvo je road management.
