IRMCT Explanation: It stays for "Ústav cestného hospodárstva a mestkej dopravy", what means "Institute of Road Management and City Transportation". I would probably use "ÚCHD (Institute of Road Management and City Transportation)" |

Institute of Road Management and Transport Explanation: It is exact translation of official Slovak name. I choose transport instead of transportation as we have Ministry of Transport. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2011-10-01 06:30:25 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Above proposed solution of use of Slovak abbreviation with English description is acceptable. "ÚCHD (Institute of Road Management and Transport)" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2011-10-01 06:47:33 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.gps-poi.eu/ustav-cestneho-hospodarstva-a-dopravy-... |

Department of Road and Transport Explanation: Ústav cestovného hospodárstava dopravy = ÚCHD I do not see word "mestskej dopravy" = city pransport or " management " http://82.117.128/zoznam.php?detail_num=74358&vers=38lang or Institute of Road and Transport -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day9 hrs (2011-10-02 13:52:36 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Alexandra here is in Sweden "Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute" www.fersi.org ...it might help you with more equivalent translation... |
