Portuguese term or phrase: conflitividade social
Hi, this is from an academic paper entitled "Territórios e populações “marginais” em tempos de desenvolvimento" written on São Paulo. I have found some uses of 'conflictivity' online but would like to know if anyone can confirm that it should be used as a term in UK English. Thanks for your help!

A ***conflitividade social*** expressa por esse cenário também é nova. Enquanto isso, a Prefeitura Municipal constrói albergues de “atendimento” aos usuários de crack, cada um para mais de mil pessoas. Discute-se publicamente a pertinência da internação compulsória dos "noias". Grandes incorporadoras investem em mão de obra de presidiários paulistas – cuja população foi quadruplicada na última década – em troca de remissão de penas. Há 200 mil presos no estado, e cinquenta novos presídios em construção. No Rio de Janeiro, o Exército Brasileiro ocupa territórios de favela na zona sul, a mais abastada, expulsando traficantes de drogas para as periferias.
