Luckily I happened to remember that, besides being the accounting translator that everyone here knows him as, he is also one of the finest tax law/taxation translators on the German market, since otherwise I wouldn't really have been able to understand this last-minute detour from your and my "semi-safe version", so ... VAT on discount it is then.
