French term
LPC
French to English
Law/Patents
This appears in a text relating to a case being tried in a Swiss law court:
"...l'article 186, al. 1 LPC..."
My guess is that LPC may stand for "loi de procedure civile", but I have been unable to either verify this or find what it does stand for.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I think you're right - Switzerland does have such a law and uses the abbreviation (does it fit into the context? You can probably look up article 186 to see whether it applies)
