This is a paint colour, now, I know that I may have some artistic licence but I'm not feeling overly erudite this evening... anyone feeling inspired? Source blue? Original blue?
Merci en avance!

primary blue
Guess, assuming it is remotely related to the three primary colours.

If it's the NAME of a paint colour, as on a colour chart, you'd be best leaving it in French and asking the client for the RAL number ("bleu origine" does not seem to be a recognized RAL colour name btw).

: AFAIK, this is not the usual way of expressing 'primary blue'...? / Strictly speaking, there's no such thing as 'primary blue' paint, since the subtractive primary is cyan, and not blue at all. So if it does exist, it's a bit of a misnomer!

Indeed it is not! And nor is "primary blue" a single, codified, shade of blue, I don't think, so I rather suspect artistic licence applies if this is indeed one of the "available paint colours for a particular manufacturer"./So get technical with me!

Comment: "actually, I think this is probably a good translation. I think it just means blue... but primary blue is good. Thx!"

Hello,
That's how I read it.
I hope it helps.

It should read "bleu d'origine", no?
